New Concept Lesson: Mixed numbers fractions was delayed due my discovery that almost all 5th grade students could not do division with a single digit divisor, i.e.
Today's Homework focuses on long division using the =standard algorithm and math fact fluency.
Reflex Math until the green light comes on
10 long division problems using the standard algorithm at Snork's Long Division.
Set the largest number to 9 as shown below.

Please note that students should do Reflex Math 4 or 5 times a week. Parents or students can chose the particular days. I am adding Reflex Math to daily homework assignments as a reminder, not as a requirement on that specific day.
