7th Grade Homework

Weekly Homework Log

There is a test on functions Thursday December 18, 2014.

I have made recommendations for each of you on Khan Academy.  You should practice those recommended skills and master them before the test.  In addition below I have included several good resources for practicing for the test.

Here is another useful review exercise.

This ordered pairs quiz will stretch you a little bit.

Finally one more.

1. Define a step function and a piece wise function in your own words. How are they similar and how are they different?

2. Provide a real life example of a piece wise function and a step function. Tell me the source you used (New York Times, CNN, Wikipedia, National Geographic, The Economist, Mlive, National Institute of Health are all good examples).  Graph both of them.
